Today ended the workshop on “Food and Communication” that the Department of Communication Studies at URV has organized for two days. Yesterday it was the time for bloggers and journalists to present their thoughts and experiences. Txaber Allué delighted us with his blog story El cocinero fiel. The initiative began with a simple recipe of tortilla de patatas and now is one of the most followed sites on gastronomy -also in youtube. After this, Javier Sampedro and Sonia Riesco offered interesting speeches on food technology, journalism, and new experiences. Worthy to mention was the Food Trotters initiative by Azti L
The program of the workshop has been exciting, with contributions coming from scholars, journalists and communication managers. The second day has been devoted to research on the field, and specially the developments by the European research project on Food Risc Communication.
